Acquisition of Lidar system
COWI has bought an ASL50 II laser scanner from Leica Geosystems.
The system is an advanced laser scanner, which can deliver up to 150 Khz measurements in an area from 200 to 6000m flying height.
This means, that up to 30 points can be scanned per square meter.
The scanner can be operated both from a helicopter for corridor measuring and from our aircraft at high altitude.
For a range of projects the scanner will be combined with our oblique system or our digital cameras.
