Aerial photography
COWI produces updated aerial photography to support major mapping projects and to carry out various commercial assignments in UK.
COWI has two aircraft stationed at Staverton Airport in the UK during the flying season.
The aircraft are specifically modified and equipped with two digital large-format Vexcel UltraCam D aerial survey cameras.
Both cameras have GPS and IMU. With more than 1.5 terrabytes of hard disk storage onboard, the Vexcel camera can capture up to 2,700 images per day.
